Bullard-Havens Alumni Bid Farewell to Old School as New $199M Home Nears Completion in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT — For Bullard-Havens Technical High School alumni, Saturday marked their final chance to say goodbye to the building they once called their second home.

This is because by December, the current Bullard-Havens building in Bridgeport will no longer be used as students move into a new state-of-the-art facility. By 2027, the current school will be demolished and in its place, there will be new athletic fields.

The “final walkthrough” of the former Bullard-Havens Technical High School building in Bridgeport, CT, was an Alumni Event & Last Day Walk-Through held on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Alumni returned to their alma mater to celebrate its history and legacy one last time before the school transitions into a new building and the old structure is demolished.
