Summer Reading Assignment: Grades 9–11

Your Goal: Read at least one book of your choice this summer.

Where to Get Books:

• Local Library (in person or online)
• SORA App  Want SORA on your phone? Visit Ms. Pavlat during period 6 or 7 on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday this week. Before going, your teacher must call Ms. Pavlat to let her know you’re coming. Bring a pass and your phone with you.
• Bullard-Havens Library (same procedure as above)

Challenge Yourself!
Aim to read one book every three weeks — you’ve got this!

What Counts as a “Book”?

• Physical books
• Audiobooks
• eBooks
• Graphic novels
  -Books should be appropriate for your reading level

Incentives:

• Read 1 book: Your teachers will be notified of your accomplishment
• Read 2 or more books:
  -Join a Dress Down Day
  -Enter a Prize Drawing
• Top Reader: Automatically wins a prize!

Deadline: All forms and entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
