10th Graders Pass All 4 Sections of the CT Physical Fitness Assessment
Congratulations to our 10th graders who passed all 4 sections of the 2018 CT Physical Fitness Assessment! Few students in the state are able to pass all 4 sections which include tasks in aerobic fitness, strength, and flexibility.
Excellence in the Arts Award Given

Female Auto Students Participate in the “Women Drive” Seminar
The Bullard-Havens THS female automotive students grades 9-12 participated in the Women Drive seminar held at and sponsored by and at Gateway Community College Automotive Program on March 22, 2018.

Selected students visited Maloney High School in Meriden,CT for Jostens, Find Your Grind Tour. The pep-rally style, multi-school event that brings together student leaders and advisers from multiple schools in your area.
Students Attend Hartford Stage
Seniors from Ms. Owen, Mr. Cassone and Mr. Pavlik's English classes recently attended the Hartford Stage to see 'Murder on the Orient Express.' The students loved the performance.
Sophomores Celebrate Success in ALEKS Program
Thirty five sophomores were honored as 'Special Achievers' in the ALEKS program recently and were treated to breakfast at 500 Palisade Cafe. The students completed Goal 2 in Algebra II. Congratulations on all of your hard work 'Special Achievers!!'
Senior Football Players Earns CHSCA Award
Senior Varsity Football Player, Tyrese Wright, was recently honored by the Connecticut High School Coach's Association (CHSCA) for 2017 All State Offense as Quarterback. We are very proud of Tyrese for receiving this amazing honor.
Senior Sustainable Architecture Student Obtains Work Study
Congratulations to Medjina Sanon a senior in Sustainable Architecture who was hired as CAD Technicians for Altieri-Sebor-Wieber LLC an MEP firm located in Norwalk, CT through Bullard Haven’s Work Based Learning program.
Luncheon Held to Honor Auto Instructor
Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Award Luncheon was held at Bullard-Havens on December 18, 2017. Automotive Department Head, Roxanne Amiot was honored with a much deserved celebration sponsored by Harbor Freight and BHT, for winning 2nd place for the 2017 Harbor Freight Tools for School Prize for Teaching Excellence.
2017 Boys Soccer Team Receives Award
The BHT 2017 Boys Soccer Team was recently honored by the Greater New Haven Soccer Officials Association. The team received the Robert Tingley Award for Outstanding Male Team - Sportsmanship. Congratulations to the Tigers!!!
