One of Bakery’s First Graduates Visits BHT

It was 1952 when Joseph Soares began his high school career at Bullard-Havens. He chose Bakery as his trade and in 1955 was a part of the first graduating class in that shop. Mr. Soares went on to enlist in the Army and continued in the trade of baking. He enjoys coming back to BHT to utilize several of the trades because he remembers how great it was as a student doing that type of production work. Mr. Soares stated that he loved his time at Bullard and was happy with his chosen trade that he continued working in until his retirement.
