Students Attend Play Starring BHT Alumnus

Juniors recently had the opportunity to attend the play “Frederick Douglass: An American Slave.” The play starred Tenisi R. Davis, a Bullard-Havens graduate.  He was very grateful our students were there from his alma mater.  They were seated in the center front rows at his request. The Klein’s executive director and the show’s director both commented on how well behaved Bullard students were during the performance.  Questions asked during Q and A were exemplary.  Our kids were definitely prepared to be there.  Mr. Davis was given the keys to the city last Tuesday night at the City Council meeting and was presented with a number of distinguished citations from local, state, and federal leaders.
