Students Visit Bridgeport Rescue Mission to Bring Donation

January 12, 2017

Family Engagement Chairperson, Kelly Flaherty and four BHT students visited the community organization, Bridgeport Rescue Mission to drop off a donation of $700. Students collected this money as a community service project and were very proud to donate it to an organization that helps others right in their own neighborhood. Volunteer Manager at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Courtney Pandolfi, was so happy to meet a few of our students and thank them for their donation. She stated, “A huge thank you again for coming today and presenting this gift to us. Your contribution means a great deal to the mission and we are so grateful for you and your talented students! Let me know of a time you would like to possibly come in with your students so they can see the mission and what their monetary donation does for the community.” Great job BHT students!!
