Students will develop an understanding of the relationship between physical, mental and social health. Using the Centers for Disease Control Risk Factors as a lens, students will explore how knowledge and behavior contribute to reducing one’s risk for unintentional injury and disease.

Students will expand their knowledge of the relationship between physical, mental and social health through the application of skills. Students will examine key concepts through the application of decision-making and goal setting skills.

Students will apply their knowledge and skills learned in Health Education I and II to examine the impact of one’s behavior and how the behaviors of others influence one’s life.

Students will synthesize the knowledge and skills learned in Health Education I, II and III to examine physical, mental and social health in a global context.
