Senior Football Player Named All State

Senior football player, Anthony Negron-Luna, was named to the 2016-2017 Connecticut All State Football Team (Class S Defense).  Anthony, a Sustainable Architecture student and four year football player, finished the 2016 season with 212 tackles, 19 sacks and 5 fumble recoveries. 

Sophomore Students Create a Christmas Wish Board

Students in Mrs. Rolleri's sophomore math class participated in a holiday activity which is posted in the hallway for all to see.  In addition to math, the students were being taught about the holidays not being just about the gifts that you receive. 

Freshmen Tour Dealership

Freshmen students from all 3 phases of the exploratory program had an opportunity to tour the BMW of North Haven Dealership and Gateway Community College’s Auto program to learn more about educational paths and potential careers in the auto industry.

Students Help at Stuff a Cruiser

State Police recently held a "Stuff a Cruiser" Toy Drive at Walmart in Milford. BHT students helped to collect toys for children and teens in need.

One of Bakery’s First Graduates Visits BHT

It was 1952 when Joseph Soares began his high school career at Bullard-Havens. He chose Bakery as his trade and in 1955 was a part of the first graduating class in that shop. Mr. Soares went on to enlist in the Army and continued in the trade of baking.

HBC Juniors Give Haircuts to the Homeless

Shout out to Junior HBC students, Angel Jefferson and Destiny Rivera, for volunteering on Saturday night at the Building Broken Warriors Foundation Thanksgiving event at the Bridgeport Library.
