Technical high school system grooms workforce pipeline
As the director of human resources for both Carey Manufacturing and Floyd Manufacturing, two Cromwell-based family businesses, Peter Egan sees the big challenge facing the state's manufacturing sector every day: The need for a pipeline of skilled young people to fill the shoes of an aging workforce.
Health Technology
Health Technology students are given instruction in health care safety, nutrition, National Health Care Standards, categories of health care facilities, legal/ethical/moral concerns in health care, and effective communication including medical terminology.
Auto Students Receive Special Training
NAPA Electrical training was provided to the Automotive 10th and 11th grade students on October 24, 2016 in the auto department at Bullard-Havens. Mr. Scalzo from NAPA presented industry training to our auto students on battery, starting and charging systems testing and diagnosis.
